The Purpose
The requirement for this project was to create a time-based book. Taste + Tempo is a cookbook dedicated to music artists and their favorite meals or foods. Spotify playlists accompany each recipe throughout the cookbook.
The ThinkingI researched several artists’ favorite meals and their music influences and then combined them. For each curated recipe there is a corresponding playlist that plays for the time that it takes to make the recipe (scan the QR code to listen on Spotify). While you’re waiting for your pot of water to boil or your cookies to bake, you can also learn a little bit more about the artist’s background.
The OutputThere are 12 recipes, artists, and playlists plus one comprehensive playlist that are all available on Spotify. The cookbook was perfect bound and laserprinted using Hammermill paper. This book is a prototype and work in progress book.
