Creativity is an evolving process. I believe in the ebb and flow in and out of different practices and how exciting it is to be “new” to something. Most of the work shown here are different branches of my creative practice that I have recently explored.

The briefExplore speculative packaging designs and produce a 3-D prototype through analog sketching, 3-D moderling, rendering, and 3-D printing.

I explored a large database of migraine medications and experimented with the abstraction of the medications’ names. Among my experiments, they included creating abstract visual languages and an encyclopedia of remedies for migraines.

This comes from a series of monotypes during my time studying at Scuola Grafica in Venice, Italy. This was a part of my first project using a copperplate. I experimented with chair drawings and ghost prints on a variety of types of paper with varying translucensy.

This comes from a series of collagraphs during my time studying at Scuola Grafica in Venice, Italy. The paper is sourced from local vendors that make custom papers. The collagraph was created using saved receipts from a day trip to Slovenia, which had as many twists and turns and surprises as the produced prints.

As a part of my thesis research, I conducted various projects experimenting with material juxtaposition; the way materials layer with one another and how the objects, and color, interact with light. This work, although started in conjunction with my Thesis Research influenced and inspired my Prismatics light design prototype.

As a part of my research, I explored the best products that exist. The ones that you only need one of (potentially) ever. The things that you might pass down to your kids (haha, a SimplyHuman garbage can). I wrote about these items, made ads, and explored well-made products.
