What I DidPhotography, Composition, Visual Storytelling, Art Direction
During my time in Venice I spent my time researching methods of making and use of natural materials. After visiting several locations and sites I narrowed my research on the work of Carlo Scarpa. I became fasinated with Scarpa’s architecture and interior design projects and his use of material and aesthetic layering in practice. This photography project was a part of a larger research project that I completed on Carlo Scarpa and Venice.
This project began as a part of my studies in Venice in 2025 at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica and AIA through partnership with Pratt Institute.
